The IO-204 modules are great, very versitile and easy to integrate. The only thing I wish for is a way to mount them nicely.

This is a nice product that has the opportunity to be great with the addition of a few more rules and actions, both server and on-board. I find myself working too hard to figure out how to do some simple things. Add a timer capability with reset, too!

I just got a chance to do the installtion and connections for the IO-204 module today. It literally took about a minute to set up! This interface is very well designed and easy to work with. I'm looking forward to many experiments with interfaces.
I see there is no interface designed to permit a wireless interface yet, though. If you happen to have a wireless router connected to your network, it would be nice to provide wireless connections to remote devices in a home or office environment. I plan to use the serial smart module to relay serial commands to a local device connected to the IO-204 module. From the local device, I can control a network of similar modules connected via a Zigbee network. The remote nodes will implement similar analog in, digital in, digital out, temperature, etc. functionality. I've completed the design of the hardware and firmware and have ordered the PCBs. I look forward to adding this functionality to your well designed network interface method.
